Thermal Expansion Tank Installation
Give thermal expansion somewhere to go and take strain off the whole system.
FLAT RATE: $239 plus applicable sales tax.
WHAT'S INCLUDED: $55 service call; up to 1 hour of labor; One Modern-supplied thermal expansion tank, tee and fittings, pre-charge set to match house pressure, installation, and leak testing.
GOOD FIT FOR: A home on a closed system, often with a pressure regulator or backflow device, where no expansion tank is present.
STANDARD CONDITIONS: One accessible job during normal business hours within Modern Plumbing's standard Citrus County service area. The booked scope must match the photos and details provided. There must be an accessible cold-water line near the heater with room to mount and support the tank.
NOT INCLUDED: Pressure regulator replacement, repiping, wall or ceiling access, mounting into finished surfaces, water heater repair, and code corrections. Any additional work is priced and approved before we proceed.
WARRANTY: 1-year Modern Plumbing workmanship warranty on the Modern-supplied installation, plus the manufacturer product warranty. Abuse, water-quality damage, excessive pressure, code deficiencies, and unrelated plumbing are excluded.
